At Bloom Brows

Treatment are available for those aged 18 years or over.

Bloom Brows will not perform tattoo treatment on people under 18 year of age, under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs.

A patch test is required for ALL tinting and lash extension, Lash lift and brow Henna treatments at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. Please contact us directly to arrange your patch test.

All cosmetic tattooing treatment bookings must be secured with a $100 deposit. This can be paid at the time of consultation.

We understand that schedule adjustments are sometimes necessary, therefore we respectfully request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancelations, If appointments are not kept or you do not give at least 24 hours’ notice for a cancellation you may be liable for the full cost of the treatment.

If you are in any doubt which treatment you require or which service to book, please book a complimentary consultation first so that we can discuss your requirements.

Pregnant/ Breastfeeding: We cannot tattoo any part of the body whilst you are pregnant or breastfeeding. We highly recommend you to wait at least 6 months after birth and since you stop breastfeeding. Due to a higher risk of sensitivity which may lead to faint and unstable heal result and in order for the body to heal and rebalance hormones.

Existing Tattoo: Please contact us for further consultation before booking. A photo of the area is needed ( clear, focused, up close, no makeup on the area) or consultation in person might require before we can book you in, that way we can give you a best and honest advice when we can able to gauge whether we are able to treat you.

HIV/AIDS: please consult with your Medical Practitioner for the beat advice and obtain a Medical Certificate clearing you to have the treatment which you will need to bring to your appointment with you.  

Haemophilia (Unstoppable Bleeding): We cannot offer any tattoo services if you are haemophiliac due to heavy bleeding would occur more, possibly pushing some of the ink out causing the tattoo to heal all blotchy. Hepatitis A, B, C, D, E: Please consult with your Medical Practitioner and obtain a Medical Certificate clearing you to have the treatment which you will need to bring to your appointment with you. Taking HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy): HRT or hormonal medications/remedies may cause cosmetic pigment to face quicker and change in colour to the pigments base tone. If you are willing to proceed with this in mind, that is fine otherwise please consult with your Medical Practitioner for the best advice.

Autoimmune Disease: Whether you can get a cosmetic tattoo or not depends on many different factors and types. Please consult with your Medical Practitioner for the best advice and obtain a Medical Certificate clearing you to have the treatment which you will need to bring to your appointment with you.

Epilepsy: Treatment can be done. But we highly recommend to consult with your Medical Practitioner for the best advice and obtain a Medical Certificate clearing you to have the treatment which you will need to bring to your appointment with you.

Cancer/Chemotherapy/Radiation: Unless controlled, we highly recommend to consult with your Medical Practitioner for the best advice and obtain a Medical Certificate clearing you to have the treatment which you will need to bring to your appointment with you.  Botox and Fillers on treated area: We recommend to have your PMU is performed 3-5 weeks prior to having Botox or fillers. However, if you’re already getting it then 4-6 weeks apart is required between treatments and PMU. Skin Problem (skin disease, eczema, irritations, rash near the treated area): Any of these problems must being treated or under control. If you are currently taking medication please ask your Medical Practitioner if you could proceed with a tattoo treatment. Sunburn: At least 4-6 weeks wait or until the skin is completely healed.

Taking Accutane (Pill to treat Acne): 1 Year wait is required since the last day taking. Taking Fish Oil, Prenatal Vitamins: Discontinue 1 week before and after appointment as these products thin the blood and may occur more bleeding and loss of pigments.  Taking Blood Thinner Medication: No Aspirin, Ibuprofen or any type of blood thinner 2 weeks before the procedure (Ask your GP before stope taking).  

Using Retinol / Retina / AHAs / BHAs/: These are most common products and ingredients contain acids (e.g. Glycolic, Lactic …) used for skin purpose of exfoliating. Lighten dark spot improve the look of fine lines and wrinkles so these also will affect directly to your PMU treatment. Stop using 2-3 weeks before your cosmetic tattoo due to high risk of sensitivity and poor colour retention. To choose to reuse the again please wait 4-6 weeks after your Touch-up visit, the colour still be affected as we have no control over this and decide to do so this is at your own risk and decision.

Skin Treatment (Skin Needling, A Chemical Peel, Fractional: 4-6 weeks apart required due to the high risk of sensitivity and poor colour retention. Prone to Keloid Scaring: It is possible to get a tattoo on Keloid skin, but it is not recommended in some cases if you are prone to Keloid your upper chest, back, arms. Keloid skin causes lumps and abnormal growth underneath the surface, making it uneven and skin that is not ideal for tattooing.  Seborrheic Dermatitis: Allergy reaction from internal or external which make the skin might be sensitive and bleeding more. The problem must be treated or under control.  

Diabetes: We cannot offer treatment unless controlled. We highly recommend to consult with your Medical Practitioner for the best advice and obtain a Medical Certificate clearing you to have the treatment which you will need to bring to your appointment with you.

Taking Stimulants e.g ( Gym Pre workout, Caffeine…): Gym Pre workout thins the blood and increases sensation. Please refrain from using these for 7 days prior to your tattoo treatment.  

Botox and Fillers: We would suggest waiting 3-4 weeks to see the final result of your Botox, which can change your brow position, before undergoing the eyebrow tattooing.

LIP TATTOOING Cold Sores/Herpes Simplex: We recommend taking either Lysine or cold sore preventative 7 to 10 days prior to your appointment even if you never had cold sores before. Especially if you suffer or are prone to cold sores breakouts at present or anytime in the past as this will reduce the likelihood of cold sores appearing as a result of the lips healing.

ON THE DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT, YOU MUST:  

  • No makeup on treated area.
  • No workout, gym, sauna or sweat heavily the day of procedure.
  • No wax/tint before your PMU appointment.
  • No Alcohol, Caffeine or any type of energy drinks 24 hours before the procedure.

Lips Tattooing: Take either Lysine or a cold sore preventative 7 to 10 days prior.

These requirement help to avoid excessive bleeding and poor colour deposit.
